Mah Jongg is a fun and fascinating, ancient Chinese, rummy-like tile game. It is a game of skill and chance and is typically played with four people. In this class you will learn American Mah Jongg, which was standardized in 1937 by the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) in New York.

Open Play: 

Wednesdays, 6 - 8pm (some experience)
Thursdays, 11 - 3pm (experienced players)
Fridays, 2 - 4pm (some experience)

Learn to Play Mah Jongg Class

This class will cover the fundamentals: tiles, terminology, rules, and how to play the game using many strategies. Most people are able to play at any American Mah Jongg table after completing this class. Once you’ve learned the rules, the possibility to excel is limitless and no two games are ever the same.
