Our varied program provides an ideal cross training tool for all fitness levels. The aerobics program at the JCC is constantly evolving as industry trends change. Free to all members unless otherwise noted.

Reservations are recommended to participate in group exercise classes. Reservations can be made on the My J app or My J desktop site.
GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES
Our classes are held in a beautiful aerobics mirrored room with a suspended maple wood floor for cushion and support; sound system; climate-controlled environment. Click here for our current group exercise schedule, for days and times.
GRIT
A high intensity interval training workout (HIIT) that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed, and maximizes calorie burn. This workout provides a challenge and uses a variety of bodyweight exercises. Don’t worry, this class can always be modified based on your fitness level.
BODYPUMP
Les Mills original Barbell class using light to moderate weights and lots of repetitions of scientifically-backed moves with great music, great coaching, and great energy. As always, this class can always be modified based on your fitness level.
BODYBALANCE
A revolution in mind/body training that will change the way you feel about your body. You’ll stand straighter, feel stronger, and become more flexible. Set to uplifting music, BodyBalance is designed to increase your endurance, reduce stress, and relieve pain.
YOGA
Traditional Yoga: An active paced yoga class linking breathe with movement and stillness. Bring your own yoga mat.
Rise & Shine Yoga: A flow class with breathe connecting with movement. A great class for beginners. Bring your own yoga mat.
TAI CHI
CORE
A scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability, and endurance with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as bodyweight exercises like crunches, and hovers. 30 minutes of core focus. And as always, every movement can be modified for your ability and enjoyment.
BOXING CIRCUIT
Jump Ropes, Heavy Bag, Shadow Box, Mitts and Speed Bag, Bring Your Own Gloves And Wraps. Full Body Workout!
ZUMBA CLASSES
a high-energy, calorie-burning dance fitness class that combines Latin and international music and dance to create a fun and effective workout. Zumba classes feature a series of choreographed dance numbers set to upbeat music, starting with slow rhythms and gradually building in intensity. The class ends with a cooling-down song.
BARRE FITNESS
A ballet, yoga and Pilates inspired technique using body weight and optional small weights or bands. Strengthen, tone, improve posture and balance. Modifications for all fitness levels.
STRIDE & THRIVE
Join us for this invigorating class designed to enhance balance, agility, and overall strength through walking! Using specially designed walking poles, you'll engage your entire body as you engage in different challenges using the poles, steps, and obstacles. This workout is suitable for all fitness levels, improving your core stability and coordination while decreasing stress and increasing mood!
Please wear sneakers or walking shoes for class, no other equipment required.
Senior / Low Impact Group X Classes
The Worcester JCC believes that fitness is for everyone — all ages and abilities. Check out the classes designed for seniors, to stay social and boost strength, flexibility, and movement. All are welcome.
BODY BALANCE
A modern take on yoga with elements of Tai Chi and Pilates, set to music. Classes are choreographed to music and feature a variety of yoga poses and movements, breathing exercises, and meditation. The class is designed to be low-impact and suitable for all fitness levels, including beginners.
CHAIR YOGA
A 45-minute yoga class seated in a chair or standing using the chair for balance. Increase your balance, flexibility, and strength while decreasing your stress!
SENIOR FIT
A 45-minute class designed for help you get and stay healthy by helping you increase your cardiovascular health and build strength and balance. This format includes light cardio work, muscle conditioning, balance, stretching, and fitness breathing.
STRETCH & TONE
Group exercise class that combines stretching and strengthening exercises to improve flexibility, strength, and range of motion. Suitable for all fitness levels.

SPIN CLASSES
Our cycling classes available with LIVE instructors in Studio B or virtually on our fitness center balcony. JCC instructors are Nationally Certified and stay abreast of changes in the fitness industry.
RPM Spin
A group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. RPM will take you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding.
Spin (Coach by Color)
This ride takes the guesswork out of training by guiding you through five color-coded intensity zones, each designed to target a specific energy system and training outcome for your personal fitness level. Whether you're new to cycling or a seasoned rider, you'll know exactly how hard to work, when to push, and when to recover. Clear coaching, music-driven intervals, and options for every level. Ride with purpose and leave feeling strong!
HydroRider
A 50 min stationary cycling class in shallow water combining cardio, strength, and core conditioning. Please make sure you wear toe protecting water shoes for this class ** Bring Your Own** and arrive 10 min early for bike setup and in the water before 8:00am class start! In our Indoor Pool.
Cruise and Climb
Cruise & Climb is an interval-based spin class focused on aerobic endurance and climbing power. Settle into smooth cruising tracks and then gear up for energizing climbs. Ideal for improving cadence control and climbing mechanics. Best for beginner riders but can certainly be tailored to advanced riders.
Virtual Streaming Studio
Take classes practically all day at the J! Our Virtual Streaming Studio features high-quality exercise videos from some of the most popular Les Mills programs. They run in addition to in-person instructor-led classes already scheduled.
