What is the role of the Court in imposing limits on presidential power? How well is it functioning? Is the Court acting in a partisan way? What is the difference between ideology and partisanship? Are there problems with the way the Court uses the Shadow Docket?
About the Speaker:

John S. Ross, III (Jack) earned an A.B. degree (in history) from Yale University, a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia of Virginia School of Law, and an LL.M. degree (in taxation) from New York University School of Law. He practiced law in Washington D.C. and served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Washington and Lee University School of Law. Jack has taught numerous courses in the WISE program focusing on constitutional law and the Supreme Court and facilitates the WISE Supreme Court Special Interest Group.
