For children aged 3 to 5 (must be 3 years old by December 31)

In our Preschool, we treat each child as an individual. We meet your child at whatever stage she’s reached and encourage and develop her skills from that point forward.

Our comprehensive, child-centered curriculum embraces a total developmental approach. We believe that play is both fun and serious work—it’s a creative process of discovery and problem solving. A variety of age-appropriate activities enable your child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Upon leaving the JCC Preschool, your child will be ready for an easy transition to Kindergarten.

Our curriculum includes gross and fine motor play, art, science, reading readiness and dramatic play. The program is enhanced by Jewish cultural education, weekly swim lessons, gym and music. Separate classrooms ensure an age-appropriate environment and curriculum.

Among the pre-Kindergarten skills your child will develop and strengthen through exploration and creative play:
• letter and number recognition
• counting
• patterning
• graphing
• measuring
• rhyming and language rhythm
• syllable recognition
• fine motor skills
• cooperation, compassion and respect for others
• ability to follow directions
• confidence in social settings

SCHEDULE
You may select individual modules or combine them to best suit your child’s needs and family schedule.

Morning Preschool
9:00 - 11:30 a.m. Morning Preschool is the core of our program, but an afternoon-only option is available.

Extended Day Options
7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Early Morning
11:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. Lunch
1:15 - 3:30 p.m. Nap and Snack
3:30 - 5: 30 p.m. Late Afternoon Enrichment

Number of Days
2 days: Tuesday/Thursday
3 days: Monday/Wednesday/Friday
5 days: Monday - Friday

School Vacations and Holidays
Child care is available during school vacations and some holidays for an additional fee.

Camp Sabra
Child care is available through Camp Sabra from June 7 through August 13. The Early Childhood Center will be closed the week of August 22, 2011.
