Give your children the opportunity to explore new horizons at the JCC!

Our complete array of licensed Early Childhood Programs are designed to provide a loving, supportive, fun and secure program where your children can learn and grow in a Jewish environment. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, a national agency whose accreditation is based on a rigorous evaluation of staff qualifications, health and safety, physical environment, child-staff interaction, and curriculum. This prestigious recognition has been achieved only by approximately 10% of early childhood programs nationwide.

Our outstanding program is enhanced by our beautiful Early Childhood Center, where your children will enjoy our bright, spacious common area and atrium, stimulating classrooms, and three separate age-appropriate playgrounds.

Our Curriculum is dedicated to the total development of each child. Our curriculum emerges from children's thinking, activities and interactions from teachers observations, reflections and documentation. Our program is child centered and designed to stimulate and support the child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth. We emphasize learning through experience and recognize that play is a child's work.

Our teachers create a caring and nurturing atmosphere where children feel secure, respected, and free to explore and succeed. A variety of developmentally appropriate materials and activities are provided to foster a positive self-concept, develop social skills and create friendships, stimulate language development, enhance fine and gross motor development, encourage children to think, reason, question and experiment, encourage creative expression and appreciation for the arts, develop a sense of independence and responsibility and foster a knowledge of Judaic concepts, traditions and holidays.

Our Teachers

Our teachers are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. They are dedicated professionals who were selected based on their experience, training and desire to work with young children. By working together as a team, the teachers are best able to provide a meaningful and developmentally appropriate curriculum which stimulates the natural desire of children to learn.

Parent Participation and Involvement

Parent involvement is actively sought and encouraged. There are many opportunities to become involved in the JCC such as reading to a group of children, cooking a favorite recipe with children, serving on a sub committee, or in any way that you feel comfortable. The JCC maintains an open door policy. It is important that every parent and child feel comfortable within our school.
